I am an artist in Denton, TX. I live with my husband and a husky mix. I am currently exploring illustration through relief printmaking and having an absolute blast with it. Other interests include video gaming (I'm co-GM in my World of Warcraft raiding guild), gardening/yardwork, and learning to play the mandolin. I run and mountain bike when the weather’s nice, and root for the Cowboys rain or shine. When not being a hermit, I enjoy eating good food and drinking good beer with good people.

Artistic chops: I have a BFA in studio art from UNT with am emphasis in Metalsmithing and Jewelry. I spent several years working in production doing pewter casting, rubber moldmaking, and plastic injection operations at Reaper Miniatures. Then I spent several more teaching Visual Arts and special ed. Math and ELAR at Krum Middle School. I am currently doing pro AV for conferencing and events at TWU. I’m grateful to have this eclectic collection of academic, industrial, and pedagogical experiences, and excited to see where the next fork in the road takes me.

This blog is a way for me to document my process as I rediscover craftsmanship and build a personal artistic practice after some time away. I think it’s some pretty cool stuff, maybe you will too.
